Thomas John Ragusin, USMC

Hello. I am Thomas John Ragusin and I am the owner of this website. I believe there is only one Ragusin family in all the world. I believe we are all descended from the first man who took or was given the surname Ragusin. Am I correct or am I wrong. I do not know for sure. I created this website to communicate with Ragusin families around the world and try to determine if there is, in fact, only one Ragusin Family. I tried this once before on a social media site, but found it, well, far too social. I would like this site to be more academic and genealogical. I would like to exchange lineages, vital records, and photos of our Ragusin ancestors rather than likes, photos of cats and dogs or our latest meal. As I reviewed this paragraph I realized how many times I used the word “I.” I (there it is again) hope that you and your as well as we and our are used more often in the future.

Eligibilty criteria to Subscribe:

  1. I invited you or I know you.
  2. You are a male or female whose birth surname is or was Ragusin.
  3. You are a male or female who can prove descent from a person meeting criterion 2.
  4. You are the spouse of a person meeting criteria 2 or 3 and handle the genealogy for your Ragusin spouse.
  5. Only subscribers who have been given permission can leave posts and add files and photos to this website. Otherwise you can only comment on the work of others.
  6. Non-Ragusins (those not meeting critera 1, 2, 3 or 4) may still visit this site and may subscribe (this allows me to monitor how popular or unpopular this site is), but will not be given any permissions.
  7. I reserve to right to reject any subscriber or remove anyone who has already subscribed.
