John Maurice Ragusin (21 Mar 1883 Senj, Croatia – 14 Aug 1934 Chicago, IL) and his second wife Edna Charlotte Steinman; he was the son of
Nicolas Anton Ragusin (13 Aug 1836 Punat, Croatia – ?) and his wife Francesca Xaveria Natalia Michielli; he was the son of
Jacob Ragusin (ca. 1807 Punat, Croatia – 14 Feb 1899 Punat, Croatia) and his wife Maria Zic; he was the son of
John Nicolas Ragusin (12 Feb 1780 Punat, Croatia – 29 Jul 1855 Punat, Croatia) and his wife Catarina Zic; he was the son of
Jacob Ragusin (24 Sep 1734 Veli Losinj, Croatia – 29 Dec 1820 Punat, Croatia) and his wife Margarita Orlic; he was the son of
John Marie Ragusin (4 May 1701 Veli Losinj, Croatia – 20 May 1760 Veli Losinj, Croatia) and his wife Domenica Sforzina; he was the son of
Jacob Ragusin (4 Nov 1653 Veli Losinj, Croatia – ?) and his wife Orsola; he was the son of
Martin Ragusin. Jacob’s baptismal record identifies him as the son of Martin Ragusin and Mara (Margarita). Unfortunately there are two different men named Martin Ragusin both of whom had a wife named Margarita having children in Veli Losinj at that time. As of now, I have been unable to positively place all children with the correct Martin–this includes my Jacob.
